NEW FROM HDONTAP · PILOT JANUARY 2027
Your students become the research team on a real eagle nest.
Live HD eagle cams, simple tools to record what students see, and a full nesting season of data — free for classrooms in our January 2027 pilot.
Built by HDOnTap, home of some of the most-watched wildlife cams on the internet.
How it works
Step 1: Watch
Live, replay, or curated highlights, so every lesson works even when the nest is quiet.
Step 2: Record
Students tap what they see — feeding, incubating, nest building — pinned to the exact moment in the video.
Step 3: Analyze
Your class builds its own dataset over the season and turns it into charts, claims and evidence.

Frequently asked questions
Is it really free?
Yes. The core classroom experience is free for pilot classrooms, and we intend to keep it free for schools.
What grades is it for?
Grades K–8 to start, with lessons for K–2, 3–5 and 6–8. High school comes later.
Do my students need accounts?
No. You create the class; students join with a code and a nickname. We don't collect student emails.
What if something upsetting happens on the nest?
Nature can be hard to watch. Teachers can switch the whole class to curated highlights in one click, and younger grades default to replay.
Which cameras?
Eagle nests from the HDOnTap network to start, with more species to follow.
When does it start?
The pilot begins in January 2027, timed to the eagle nesting season.
I run a wildlife organization or camera. Can we be involved?
Yes — tell us about it on the partners page.
